We've been letting Scarlett try oatmeal every couple of days so she can get used to texture. I think we're in for a long haul, she doesn't get how to swallow it yet. I think we want to start solids at 5-5.5 months, so we're excited! I need to buy those oxo tot ones. When you make her food, how far does one container go? I am trying to figure out how many storage trays I should buy.

And about the vaccine... does the book focus on still getting the vaccines, but just delaying them? I've never heard of this approach. We plan to do all vaccinations, but I want to learn more about the "delay" and those benefits. Eila just got her first set of shots today - we opted to delay the Rotavirus vaccine since I needed to read and learn more about it. How do you find making baby food? We are considering Baby Led Weaning for Eila (I just bought the book) but in the event it doesn't work I will be making Eila food. Love this list Gramira. xoEmilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18124446975154488977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7962517370525764975.post-22136367283156555062013-08-26T11:18:11.029-07:002013-08-26T11:18:11.029-07:00I have all the Dr Sears books, I love them so much...I have all the Dr Sears books, I love them so much! Needless to say they are just a special treat here and there now. lolRebekah Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18335907690924454590noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7962517370525764975.post-17559141591026923382013-08-26T09:23:26.848-07:002013-08-26T09:23:26.848-07:00Glad to know there's another Dr. Sear's ad...Glad to know there's another Dr. Sear's advocate out there! Quite the controversial topic and I find few who share my feelings on it :) To each their own! But thanks for sharing...I'll definitely have to look into getting that book for when baby comes!Danielle https://www.blogger.com/profile/14472582071045116526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7962517370525764975.post-61170995569144949112013-08-26T08:40:33.202-07:002013-08-26T08:40:33.202-07:00Puffs are a life saver! We were headed to dinner one night and I forgot them on the counter and we had to make a special stop at a store so we could have puffs for dinner. They really are a perfect way to help keep them quiet in a restaurant. I'd say those are pretty much the essentials for us right now, too. We're doing the same with one "meal" a day, but we have given him small pieces of real food, like broccoli or black beans. He loves it, but like you said, nursing is most of his nutrition for the day. Seems like we have similar parenting ideas =].smug princesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14902172537255717938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7962517370525764975.post-82906229993637967662013-08-26T07:45:31.245-07:002013-08-26T07:45:31.245-07:00Love this!
