Personalized Leggings Giveaway

Meet baby Kaiyanna.
She is 18 months old and has been fighting cancer for 8 months.
Atypical Teratoid Rhabdoid Tumor (AT/RT) brain cancer to be exact.
Kai's story has touched me in a way that I have a hard time explaining. Perhaps it's because I have a daughter so close in age and seeing little Kai reminds me that this could happen to any child, no matter how young. It's so hard to watch a baby live out her life in a sterile crib hooked up to a million tubes. Kai's mom Teal has quit her job to be with Kai every day. They currently live in the Ronald McDonald house and their medical bills are currently a few million dollars. And while there is nothing I can do to help Kai with the nausea, fevers, surgeries, lethargy, feeding tubes, and painful procedures - I feel like I can help raise awareness and a few dollars.
I would like to giveaway one adorable pair of personalized baby leggings by Jennifer Ann!
They are my absolute favorite pair of Avery's leggings and the ones I will always hold onto. They are made of the softest material and you can choose between several different font and color options.
To enter to win is so simple.
Instead of reposting an instagram picture, or liking a million different shops, you just need to donate $1 to Kai's fund. In the comments section of your donation make sure to write @amira143 somewhere. This is how I will keep track of entries and who has donated. Each additional dollar donated will count as an extra entry. So if you donate $5 it will count as 5 entries. For this reason, please make sure your donation is not kept anonymous or I will not be able to see it. Please also leave your instagam name or email address in the comments section so I know how to contact you if you win.
If you would like to spread the word about this giveaway it would be greatly appreciated but not required!
The winner will be chosen next Monday May 5th.

Sarava Designs Review & Giveaway

When this dreamy package showed up for Avery, I knew we would fall in love with the leggings by Sarava Designs . When I actually opened them and saw how perfectly they were sewn, we were hooked! They fit a little bit looser which I love since so many leggings run so tight. She'll be able to wear them - comfortably - for awhile! The patterns that she has in her shop are all beautiful. Deer, owls, geometric, arrows, bows, chevron. The list goes on and on, and there are plenty of boy options too. Her leggings run between $18 - $30 depending on whether you want the organic fabric. My mom commented that you could tell immediately the fabric was organic -- it didn't have that "chemical-ly" smell.
Sarava Designs has been generous enough to give away a pair to one lucky winner! Winner will get to choose the leggings of their choice. See my instagram post for entry details (@amira143).
*Extra entry for pinning your favorite pair of leggings and commenting below that you've done so.*
I'll choose a winner at random on Friday 4/25.

Mama Case Prints

First things first. These pigtails KILLED me. I could not get enough of them. Avery instantly looked like a toddler to me. POOF, there went my little infant. These pig tails were a desperate attempt at hiding styling her mullet.
Secondly, could you just die over Avery's t-shirt by Mama Case Prints?! All of these witty, creative tees are designed and made in her home studio. I admire momtrepreneurs so much and love supporting these shops! She prints on American Apparel so you can be sure the tees are as soft as possible.
Some of my personal favorites:
Can we discuss how cute the BFF tees would be for siblings? Or mama/baby?
Mama Case Prints has so generously offered to giveaway one of these witty tees.
I will choose the winner at random on Wednesday 4/16/14.
See my instagram photo to enter.
Extra entry: pin your favorite Mama Case Prints t-shirt and comment below with which one you would choose if you win :-)

Freshly Picked Moccasins

Have you seen the Freshly Picked Spring line? Glacier (light blue), Aruba (turquoise), Coral, and Golden Rod. When I saw them in Golden Rod I knew I had to have them. Every little girl needs a pair of yellow shoes in her life right? I've noticed a big nautical trend in baby clothes this spring, and yellow pairs perfectly with blue and white.
Let me tell you that the quality of Freshly Picked moccs are visible the moment you take them out of the cute muslin bag you will receive them in. You can smell the leather. The stitching is flawless. And they are so durable. I love that Freshly Picked moccs sit up higher on her ankle than other moccs we've tried. I know a few mamas who were concerned about soft-soled shoes for walkers. We took ours exploring and Avery was able to walk over dirt and rocks with ease. Not to mention how many people stopped to compliment her ;-)
If you have been eyeing Freshly Picked moccs but have been hesitating for some reason - don't!
You will not regret it.
Aaand I'm ecstatic to let you guys know that we're giving away a pair right here on Shades of Gray!
See my post on Instagram this morning for entry details.
As an extra entry simply comment below.
I'll choose a winner on Friday 4/4/14!
Best of luck :-)
