Noelle + Mike Maternity

Noelle and her husband Mike are expecting their first baby, a little boy, in August and wanted to document their last few months as a (pregnant) family of two! Noelle is so beautiful, and truly wears pregnancy so well. I can't wait for her pudgy bundle to get here in a few months!

Deanna's Family Maternity Session

Deanna and Andrew are so excited to make their sweet son Trent a big brother in less than a few months! They are such a laid-back family, and were so easy to photograph. While our initial beach session did not pan out for cold weather/tide reasons, I thought it ended up being absolutely perfect that we took her maternity photos at the same place she took them while she was pregnant with Trent :-)

Shea Love Newborn Lifestyle Session

I've been dying to get my hands on a tiny newborn girl so that I could attempt the shot above with flowers. I've had flowers on the brain since helping to plan (and photograph) my dear friend Sasha's Garden Party Bridal Shower (coming to the blog soon!) I was so excited when Erica reached out to me to let me know that her beautiful baby girl had arrived! I met Erica last fall when I took their family photos for Christmas cards and she was only 18 weeks along then. She now has a healthy, happy, gorgeous little one with a head full of dark hair!

La Quinta Wedding

I've had the pleasure of second shooting so many weddings this year! I have really been slacking in the blog department though! When I'm not chasing after Avery, I'm editing photos like crazy so this little blog has been a little neglected. I shot this gorgeous Palm Desert wedding with Sara from Focused in Photography a couple months ago. The bride's dress was so absolutely beautiful, and their dessert bar was one of the prettiest I've seen!

Beach Maternity Session

I met with Tiffany & Joe at my favorite beach in Carlsbad. It was such a bummer to see that it was an extremely high tide, and very crowded. With some creative shooting, and a little directing ("get out of my shot little girl!") you would hardly know how packed it was! I LOVE maternity shoots! I just find pregnant women so beautiful.
