Avery is almost six months and is now eating solids once a day. She eats about an ounce of food. We've tried avocado, squash, carrots and green beans, and she's pretty much devoured everything we've given her. Here's hoping she's a good eater as she gets older too. Since I'm able to stay home with her, I decided part of my new job would be to make her baby food. I use the Beaba Babycook which makes it SO easy. And I love knowing exactly what's in her food. Plus it's way cheaper (10 green beans were .24 and it made 3 meals!)

Did you find that the Beaba was worth the price? I have friends who use this, and others who use an immersion blender but I like how the Beaba is all-in-one.
I love how it steams and blends it all for you! I definitely want to make my own baby food when this little one gets here and is ready for it!
I definitely need one of these!!

I cant wait to do this with baby Hart!
I'm so glad you posted this! I'm about to buy the same one! Sav just started to become interested in our food! My question is, what accessories did you get to do with it and how do you like them? Like the containers etc. Also, are you using recipes or just going with the flow? Are you adding breast milk to the food also?
I'l have to check that out! It looks so easy. I would love to make my own baby food but it looked like a lot more work than that! Now I'm intrigued.
Oh man I'm almost to this point and I'm excited! I love homemade, so much better for them.
I'm going through your baby posts... :)
We have this too and I'm looking forward to putting it to use when my girl is older!
