A week or so ago I asked you guys if you had any questions for me and I got so many good ones. I'm going to answer a few at a time, so if you don't see yours answered here, I'll post more next week!
Since you are studying to be a librarian, are you a big reader? And if so, what are you currently reading?
I love to read! Unfortunately, being a student sometimes sucks the fun out of it when there is so much required text book and article reading. The class I'm in currently is a Young Adult Literature class which actually requires me to read and review 50 YA books. It has been challenging finding that much time to read in the evenings, but I've also enjoyed how much of it is "fun reading" i.e. Twilight, The Hunger Games, etc.
Favorite Karaoke song?
Jesse's Girl by Rick Springfield. My husband's 80's cover band used to cover this song and it was a sure fire way to get me on the dance floor and singing my heart out. I'm envious of anyone that actually gets to be Jesse's girl (cough, Lauren, cough).
What's your cup size?
Haaa, wow. I did say I would answer any question, didn't I? Alex, I'll take D for $500 please.
What's your favorite Disney movie?
A week ago, I might have said that I couldn't answer this question because I love them all so much. However, I've been on a Disney watching binge lately, catching up on all of my old favorites. Little Mermaid wins hands down. {Although, Beauty & the Beast is a solid runner up.} I can't tell you how many hours I spent splashing in my grandma's pool pretending to be Ariel. "Look at this stuff, isn't it neat? Wouldn't you think my collections complete. Wouldn't you think I'm the girl, the girl who has, everythinggggg." I could sing the entire soundtrack for you.
Something you love about each of your parents?
I love how silly my dad is. His sense of humor is to die for and he never fails to make me laugh. I would also have to add that I love how much he loves my mom. It's out there for everyone to see. As for my mom, I would have to say her brain. She really is the smartest person I know, and would be the first person I'd call for my life line if I ever made it onto Who Wants to be a Millionaire.
I can't tell you how windy it was while we were trying to take these pictures! I ended up needing my hair touched up before the ceremony. |
If you have any other questions let me know at any time :-)

I love ypu! I love your sense of humor and your brain too friend! You seem to have the best traits of your mom and dad. Dan and I are in Belize and I still won't miss your blog. Hehe xoxo
I wanna make one of those Meme angry guys, I hope you know what Im referring to, but I want him to be angry screaming, "Girl why you get to be so pretty?!?"
<3
You look SO gorgeous on your wedding day!!! I must agree, Ariel and Belle are my two favorite characters-- the best, the best, the best!
I loved reading this, and you looked truly brilliant on your wedding day! You are so lovely
I love the song Jesse's girl! I worked a wedding once where the groom was named Jesse. He surprised the bride by singing the song to her with his groomsmen singing back up vocals! It was amazing!
your wedding....I am melting it was so gorgeous!!! And have you read fifty shades of gray?? I am dying to read it!
Ariel has always always been my favorite. No Question... I sing The Little Mermaid songs to the kids I work with all the time =)
i love the pics of you and your parents!
Those are cute questions! That's funny that you had to read Hunger Games and Twilight for class.
I loved this, Amira! Fun and great read! Plus, my question was first...so I think this means you love me..a lot.
Just saying.
hilarious someone asked you your cup size. :D curious people!
That's so sweet how you say that you would first call your dad if ever on who wants to be a millionaire...and awesome questions and answers. Good getting to know a tiny bit of you more.
You're parents are kind of adorable. Love your answer to that question!
I love you :)
this is such a cute post! love that you are answering all these questions!
I'm right there with you in regards to Little Mermaid being the best Disney movie! I loved that movie so much as a kid that I "wore-out" to the point of not being playable no one but two VHS tapes! I had the soundtrack on cassette tape, so I too know all of the songs by heart!
I really enjoyed reading your answers! And those pictures of you and your parents are really nice :)
Love getting to know all of the women behind my favorite blogs. Heck yes the little mermaid is the BEST!
yay! so happy you did this, and your answer to my parent question was pretty tender, i bet they cried when they read it! I also saw little mermaid for the first time ever 3 years ago and now feel i had a very deprived childhood!
Gorgeous wedding pics! And I'm with you on the Little Mermaid. My favorite!
I love Q&A sessions with bloggers :)
Thanks for sharing!
<3 Jamie
I loved this! I have another question... what nail polish are you wearing in the first picture? It is gorgeous!
Fun and sweet!! Cool getting to know you better :)
Haha I always wished I could have taken in English class that had a ton of "fun reading" but 50 just seems extreme, especially when you have to review them all too! Granted a lot of YA you can read in like a day or 2 but a girl needs a life too! Anywho, loved reading your Q&A and looking forward to more of them! :)
Hey lovely, your guest post is up today. Thanks for being patient!!! :)
Those pictures of you and your parents are so beautiful! We forgot to take those at our wedding :(
But maybe we can re-do it when we're dressed up for a party :)
