Help!

So I'm trying to upload pics for a blog post and it's saying I'm out of storage space! Has this happened to anyone else? I don't want to pay monthly just to be able to upload pics... :-/

yes. this actually just happened to me last week. It also wouldn't allow me to log in to where the photos are stored in order to get rid of ones that aren't being used.

So annoying and not sure how to fix the problem.

Use a Picasa account ... if you aren't already.

Hey girl! This happened to me last spring, you just have to buy more storage space from Google, and it's only $5 for 20GB/year. Here's the link: https://www.google.com/settings/storage/

the same thing happened to me last month or so... i asked my blog friends via instagram and they told me to NOT delete them from the picasa album, or they will disappear from your blog.

you should pay for extra storage... it's only like $2.50 a month.

Yep!
So lame, don't delete the photos to make more space like I brilliantly did, lol it will remove them from your posts! Not cool Blogger.

This just happened to me too! I feel like it's really crappy of Google, but at the same time blogging is a hobby that I love and I didn't feel like taking the time to find some sort of work around so I just decided to pay the $2.50/month...it's so dumb but I suppose it's worth it :)

I had the same thing!! Now, I just deleted some photos and I'm good for now! BUT, you can also use photobucket. Great storage website too!! And really easy to use with blogger! :D Hope this'll work.

The same thing happened with my sister.
But don't delete your photos!! It can screw up your older posts.
My sister also didn't want to pay the cost, no matter how little so I helped her to open a photo bucket account. I have always used one even though I haven't run out of storage because its really easy to use and gives me more control of how I use the photos in my posts!!!
Hope this helped!

This happened to me just a few weeks ago! You can get a photobucket account and upload your photos onto your blog from the url direct link photobucket lets you copy. That's what I did. Not sure how much space photobucket lets you use though before they start charging too..It will probably buy you another year though! :)

And yes, do not delete the photos from google or else they will be deleted from your blog post!! Made that mistake..terrible! Grrr...

I ended up paying the $2.50... sucked but I didn't want the headache of learning how to do it from photobucket/picassa/etc.

This just happened to me last week so I have been using PhotoBucket to upload my pictures and posting the link on my blog. It's a tad bit inconvenient, but it's a free alternative! :)

I've heard if you use Google+ you can upload them there and then easily share them on your blog, also some people have created accounts on Photobucket and then use the direct URL to post them on their blog - kind of a pain either way though :/

Like everyone else, this happened to me as well! I didn't want to pay the $2.50 either, but I figured it'd be the easiest and quickest way to resolve the issue! Good luck :)

I've been using photobucket.com for the past couple of months and although it's annoying to have the extra step, it's free.
