Our Easter wasn't very Easter-y this year, but we did enjoy the day.
-Brandon woke up to an Easter Basket (as boyish as I could make one) and I'll be eating the candy out of it for weeks. I made sure to stock it with some of my favorites.
-Einstein's for our traditional weekend bagels
-Washing my new (to me) car. I said goodbye to my trusty red accord. I had her for 8 years and she was always good to me. But I was ready for a four-door, and leather seats don't hurt either ;-)
- Our first Padre game of the season! Kandi (my best friend) and her boyfriend Matt invited us and they had the BEST seats. Right behind home plate. We enjoyed cotton candy, a few home runs, one grand slam and a Padre win - a very rare occurrence.
The best part of the day was celebrating Kandi's little brother's engagement! He asked his girlfriend on Easter morning. He filled little plastic eggs with all of his favorite memories written on little notes, and then pulled out the best gift of all :-)
Hope everyone had a happy Easter!
