Medieval Times

Pin It!

Brandon's childhood dreams of going to Medieval Times finally came true on Saturday. It was Kandi's brother's 24th birthday and we all had the best time. For those of you not familiar with Medieval Times - it's essentially dinner and a jousting show. While your wench (server) serves you food that you have to eat with your hands (soup, chicken breast, potato wedges and a pastry for dessert) you get to cheer on your Knight who is "fighting" in the arena below. We were seated in the yellow section so we cheered for the yellow knight until our voices were hoarse {sadly he was defeated by the green knight.}
fawning over the bravest knight in all the land: the birthday boy - John Paul
We had such a good time and the food was surprisingly good! Sometimes it's fun to act like a kid again.

Happy Birthday JP!

Do you watch Millionaire Matchmaker? That's what Midevil Times reminds me of. Chris Manzo (from RHONJ) took his date to MT on an episode. It made me want to go to there (and that's a line from 30 Rock--I watch waaay too much TV). But we don't have them near us in Mpls. Boo.

Since you mentioned medieval times the other day - we have decided that we are going to celebrate our birthday there. We both haven't been and I am too excited just thinking about it. These pictures make me even more excited. Do you think they will let me joust since it's my birthday?
