My Pen Pal!

Pin It!

I got my first letter from my pen pal last week and let me tell you, it made my day. I would like to introduce you to Niina from It Seems Pretty Obvious. Niina is in Sweden and is absolutely darling. Her handwritten letter included a map of Sweden with a little heart exactly where she lives, a couple of photographs and some Swedish tea!  {I'm waiting for the perfect weather and book combination to give it a try}
As tempting as it's been to get to know her through the blog world, there is a part of me that has wanted to keep it old school. There's something fun about really having to try to get to know someone without the immediate gratification that email and text messages provide. I've learned that Niina is quite the traveler and has already been to Florida several times, as well as Chicago. She works for a preschool and is enjoying being engaged to her fiance. She also creates postcards out of vintage children's book illustrations, which I think is pretty amazing.

You guys have to check out her blog!

And if you've received anything from your pen-pal yet, link up and share!

I am so happy you made this a link-up. I didn't respond to your e-mail question about it - my apologies. I have been a lazy pen-pal and haven't yet sent anything out. However this has inspired me to get the ball rolling. It's time to take this blogmance to the next level. Thank you again for setting this up.
