Q & A #2 in the orange orchard

On the way back from Julian a couple of weeks ago,
we pulled over at an Orange Orchard and wandered around taking a couple of pictures.
I could not justify doing a whole blog post on them but figured I would share them with another Q & A session.
What are some of your pet peeves?
Where do I start? Traffic, slow drivers, tail gaters, loud chewing, guys with long nails, one long pinky nail, dirt under fingernails, servers that aren't quick with refills, ignorance, the word hella. Is it normal to have so many? I could keep going...
Favorite TV channel?
We actually just cancelled our cable (gasp). We found that we were paying close to $100 and RARELY watching it. Since we didn't have DVR, I never managed to actually catch my favorite shows when they were on, so I would end up watching them online. Shows like Real Housewives of anywhere, Bethenny Ever After, basically anything on Bravo. We signed up for Netflix though since watching movies is one of my favorite things to do in the world.

One thing you wish you could change about yourself?
If I could change anything about myself it would my anxious, worry-wart tendencies. One reason that I feel Brandon compliments me so well is because he is always calm, which in turn helps to calm me. I'm always worried about the future, or things that we don't have control over, or things that will probably never happen. I have a hard time shutting my brain off at night because a million things that worry me are going through my head.
Can't stay serious for long
What is the one thing that drives you nuts about Brandon?
ooo, this is such a good question! And I've realized that some of the things that drive me nuts are also things I really love about him too. Talk about being conflicted. I love that he's a man of many hobbies. He's so handy and can fix almost anything. Along with that talent comes a slight obsession with working on things in the garage. He would disappear into the garage for days at a time if I didn't come nagging him once in awhile. For instance, this weekend he has probably spent about 12 hours out there so far. He only left the garage yesterday because we had to meet my parents in Temecula for Mother's Day lunch.
Doesn't it make you want freshly squeeze orange juice?

My favourite shot is the one of you attempting to deep throat that orange! It's impressive grams.

Now seriously I EFFIN' hate loud chewers. I can't stand it. It grosses me out even thinking about it.

We are also considering cancelling our cable - probably after hockey season. I never watch it.

I have so much to say about this post!! #1 your dress is so so cute. #2 Being from Maine, it's so weird to see oranges growing on a tree. I've honestly never seen it so it seems weird even though obviously I know where they come from. And finally, #3, I will be adding one of your buttons to my blog as one of my favorite reads!

What a beautiful orchard!

John and I didn't have cable for awhile...we also found ourselves not watching it. Netflix and our movie collection was all we needed!

I also worry about EVERYTHING!! I wish I could stop but then I worry about my worrying! Lately I have been meditating before bed which has REALLY helped me clear my mind and get to sleep.

Great Q&A Sesh! You are like the twilight books except with an orange instead of an apple, and Bella wouldn't be caught dead smiling, so you are better for sure!

These pictures remind me of the No Doubt album in the 90's - the one with 'Don't Speak' on it. Do you remember that one??! I probably listened to that CD 400 times. :o)

My boy would have stayed put and eaten all the oranges he could get his little hands on. He would have been in heaven! Great pics!!

I also hate the word hella. And my boyfriend is a man of many hobbies also. I always feel a little guilty when I nag him about not being home or spending time with me because he is always playing with his "toys" or working on something.

Deep throating oranges. Hot.

We got rid of cable. And I feel sorta smug about it. Like I am living proof that there is life after Bravo. And I am living it to the fullest, gosh damnit. OK. Totally going thru some RHofAnywhere withdrawal. ;)

I love, love, LOVE this post and can totally relate to you on so many things! First, traffic is my biggest pet peeve and living in San Diego isn't the best for that. Second, I am totally anxiety proned and my husband has helped me so much in this area without knowing it. We also don't have cable, but we have Hulu plus and Netflix, and survive on both just fine :)

We also cancelled cable!! Dawson's Creek was just added to Netflix streaming!!! I watched 3 episodes tonight hahaha. Also Hulu plus is like $8 a month and has GREAT shows you can stream on the computer :)

Worrying can get the best of us sometimes. It's nice to be reminded that I am not alone in that. Thank you for the beautiful orange grove pictures! Because of you, I got my daily glass of oj and vitamin C. My doctor will be so proud!

i cancelled my cable too :) Hulu is a good source because it will save your shows (FOR FREE!) in a queue. Just stumbled upon your blog loving it so far :)
