Dialect vlog

Ahhh, I never in 300 years thought I would actually do this,
and I don't know what's come over me but figured I should post it
before I chicken out.

The instructions are to say these words:
Aunt, Route, Wash, Oil, Theater, Iron, Salmon, Caramel, Fire, Water, Sure, Data, Ruin, Crayon, Toilet, New Orleans, Pecan, Both, Again, Probably, Spitting image, Alabama, Lawyer, Coupon, Mayonnaise, Syrup, Pajamas, Caught
And answer these questions:
What is it called when you throw toilet paper on a house?
What is the bug that when you touch it, it curls into a ball?
What is the bubbly carbonated drink called?
What do you call gym shoes?
What do you say to address a group of people?
What do you call the kind of spider that has an oval-shaped body and extremely long legs?
What do you call your grandparents?
What do you call the wheeled contraption in which you carry groceries at the supermarket?
What do you call it when rain falls while the sun is shining?
What is the thing you use to change the TV channel?

My first Vlog...
and probably my last haha.

video

So what do you think, do I have a California accent? I have to say I was really jealous of all of you with southern drawls. I have a British cousin and once Kandi and I asked him what our "accent" sounded like and his honest and innocent answer {in his fantastic British accent} was, "Have you ever seen the movie Clueless?" Haa, greeeat. So we sound like valley girls? Lovely.

**Pretty sure it's pronounced vlog not v-log**

Girl your too cute! I'm glad you posted it because I feel like I have more courage to now. And you have a normal accent to me, I guess. I'm pretty bad at dialects, but I loved the video!

Oh man. I think I've finally been encouraged me to do this. Even before I knew this was going around I promised to show off my Minnesohhhhtahhh accent after I hit 100 followers. I am embarrassed to admit this, but I kinda sound like Sarah Palin a little. Ugh. And it's even worse after I start drinking. So the question is, do I vlog under the influence of alcohol or not?? Haha.

I loved watching this!! When I read blogs I try to imagine what people's voices sound like and I love when they do vlogs!!! I can't really sense any sort of accent? But the rain and sun question I think is rainbow! well maybe??

haha you are too cute! i don't think id do this... everyone would probably think i sound super southern- even though i don't think i have a strong accent. but we definitely say new orleans, pajamas and pecan differently.

and the grocery cart is definitely called a buggy here. lol.

You sounded great :) Thanks for having the courage to share. I was stumped on the 'raining while sun shining' question too. I think it means there's a special term out there somewhere. Rrrrandom!

Your pup is pretty cute too :)

LOL!! I just did this a few days ago and had a lot of fun with it. Like you though, I'm afraid I don't have an accent. :( Dang! lol. You're too cute though and it was fun to get to see and hear the voice behind the blog. :) Thanks for sharing!
