Friday's Letters

Dear Brandon- Thank you for finally putting your foot down and taking our Valentine's decorations down. It is April. You know I never would have done it.
Dear Dad- You have officially been struck with baby fever. You have now asked me for the third time when you can expect a grandchild. This is all very new to me. I'm still getting used to the fact that you're okay with me making out with a boy, let alone making a baby. Seems just like yesterday I got in trouble for giving a boy my phone number on the bus.

Dear Lucy-I love that when you hear my keys you pop out of MY blanket and give me this look like, "Can I come mom? Can I? Hah? Hah? Can I come?"
Dear California Burrito- Why are you so delicious? Smothered with hot sauce, I could eat you for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My butt does not like this, or you.
Dear Diet Coke Brownies- How have I never heard of your existence? I feel as if I've died and gone to heaven. Too bad you couldn't be a part of the juice fast I'm considering.

Dear Readers- I hope your weekend is everything you want it to be. I have another paper due on Sunday that I'll be spending most of the weekend on, and then a birthday dinner at the Starlight Lounge in San Diego {anyone been?} for our friend's 30th birthday. You can find me on Instagram over the weekend, and I'll talk to you all on Monday!

Haha, my yorkie Bronx does that to me too. He loves burrowing in blankets, but always seems to know when I'm about to leave and comes popping out. What a cute little dog you have!

Have a fun weekend! Well as fun as possible with the paper and all. But AFTER the paper is done, comes the real fun. :D

I love the first note to your dad. I can't imagine my dad dropping hints like that. It makes me squirm.

Adorable decor! You should turn it into spring decor, that's what I do with my wreaths :)

And that's so funny about your Dad. I feel the same way, it would be so weird if my Dad asked me since he's still in shock I'm married. That's too cute though! At least you know he'll be very happy :)

Yes, that's definitely a weird transistion with a dad. One day it's taboo to talk about discuss with him, cut to full out discussing having a baby. Cute post...thanks for sharing! Happy weekend!

I love the V-Day decor! So cute! I am a sucker for pomanders.

I also ADORE your houndstooth blanket. Best pattern ever.

I know what you mean with the grandkids requests. It feels like just yesterday my mother was freaking out because I had a boyfriend. Now she is continutely asking about grandchildren. Oh how the time flies!

I think your decorations looked pretty 'Springy' and thus it would be okay to leave them up thru June gloom. Just sayin.

Happy Weekend, sweets.

Oh Starlite, how I love thee. Mules!! and (if they are currently on the menu) pepperjack cheese sticks. holy shit, the goodness. Also, that's in my hood, we should like, hang out. :)

It breaks my heart when my dog Gunny looks at me and tries to fight through the door when I'm leaving and he thinks he's going. I wish I could but an 80 lb. wild child dog and babies that weigh like 15 lbs. don't seem to mix.

And Diet Coke BROWNIES?! I've made a Diet Coke cake and loved it, these brownies may have to be made...after I detox from all the fast food and Easter candy I've eaten the past few weeks. Have you had black bean brownies? Those are delish as well!
